Election Day Voting Hours

6:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m. A voter in line by 7:30 p.m. may vote.

Absentee / mail-ballot

Any registered voter may request a mail ballot online or with the official paper form. The request must be received by 5:00 p.m. Oct. 20, 2026 and requires identifying information plus the voter’s signature. Completion generally requires two witnesses or one notary, plus a photo-ID copy or ID Exception Form. The ballot must reach the county board by 7:30 p.m. Election Day; a postmark alone is not enough.

Early Voting

ID requirements

Photo ID is required for in-person voting and a copy is generally required with a mail ballot. Eligible voters without ID may use the official ID Exception Form. A voter who simply forgot ID may vote provisionally and present it by the cure deadline.
