7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. local time. A voter in line by 7:00 p.m. may vote.

Absentee / mail-ballot
Voting by mail is limited to voters who are 65 or older; sick or disabled; expecting to give birth near Election Day; absent from the county for the entire early-voting period and Election Day; civilly committed under Chapter 841; or confined in jail but otherwise eligible. The early voting clerk must receive the application by Oct. 23, 2026. Include a Texas ID number or, if none, the last four SSN digits and follow the official submission rules.

ID requirements
Present 1 of 7 accepted photo IDs. For ages 18–69, an otherwise valid ID may be expired up to 4 years; for age 70+, it may be expired any length. A voter who cannot reasonably obtain an accepted photo ID may present an approved supporting document and complete a Reasonable Impediment Declaration.
